People are commenting to me how glad they are that I didn’t stay in “retirement.”
“You have too much to express!” I’m told. My ego loves to hear that, for sure, but my soul also resonates. I feel I’m expressing in new and different ways even though on the surface it still is writing and hosting workshops and other things I have done before. The energy is different though. My energy is different.
And some things remain the same. Some of the quotes that have moved me for decades still ring true. Such as:
“Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~Howard Thurman
Amen, Howard, amen.
I feel alive again.
What makes you feel alive? Are you doing that? Why not? No matter your circumstances, there is always a way to squeeze in a tiny bit of what makes you feel alive. It’s a choice, whether we see it that way or not. Ten minutes a day of something that makes you feel alive can make the rest of the day a million times better and easier. I cannot force you nor convince you, but you can experiment and see for yourself.
Planning this expo has certainly made me come alive. And alive I shall stay. EXPO DAY is April 29. Things are firing within me for all I want to do after that, and details will emerge, but Spirit is reminding me to enjoy the plate in front of me. I am exuberant. My plate is glorious.
Much love,
Kelly
