What is a cacao ceremony?

This morning, I came across a message from Spirit to me from November 2022. That was when I got the download to create the mind body spirit expo for our area and that’s when Access SOUL was born. The message: “You are wired to deliver messages.” And “They all need to know they are loved. Reach them at the level they are ready to receive.”

Maybe I am wired to deliver messages. I for sure want people to know they are loved. That’s the whole point of us opening a physical space in the community. (Please help us keep spreading the word!)

We truly want to be a High Frequency Sanctuary where people feel welcome, safe, and ready to explore. To find the peace within. We are here to give tools and experiences for you to access your soul.

“Reach them at the level they are ready to receive.” Maybe sound healing and meditation and energy work is all new to you. Maybe you are happily down the rabbit hole of higher consciousness topics and are thrilled out of your gourd to find people to be able to speak all the things!

For example, some are delighted to have a cacao ceremony this Friday, and some are thinking what the heck is that?

Regarding cacao ceremony: Cacao is a superfood filled with nutrients and minerals that have numerous benefits. Cacao is one of the highest natural sources of antioxidants and one of the highest sources of magnesium. It also contains calcium and magnesium in perfect ratios that are fully absorbable by the body. 

Theobroma, the Latin name, given by Swedish botanist Carolus Linnaeus to cacao directly translates to Food of the Gods.

Cacao and chocolate come from the same plant. Cacao has a more intense, slightly bitter, and earthy taste than sweetened chocolate. Cacao has been held as sacred and used ceremonially for hundreds of years.

Traditionally, ceremonies united communities to seed positive intentions for the coming natural cycles of life, crops, etc., and for spiritual, medicinal and ceremonial purposes for inner awakening and creative guidance.

Cacao is totally safe and doesn’t have ‘psychedelic’ properties. And to be clear, we at Access SOUL are substance-free, alcohol-free, and even scent-free for the most part.

Every cacao ceremony is different, just as every meditation is different.

Cacao opens your heart, stimulates focus and clarity, and aids in spiritual connection.

We sip it, warm and delicious. Mindfully. Intentionally. Prayerfully.

Our ceremony includes a bit of guided meditation, sipping the cacao, curated music to take you deeper, and time for sharing and release and receiving.

It’s all about connection to yourself and your soul and Source.
