Times of sun and clouds

“Times of sun and clouds.” That is the forecast for today. Isn’t that always life?

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend, no matter the weather forecast. We will use that Monday to move Jim’s dad from his current assisted living to Jim’s sister’s house while we await the waiting lists for other facilities.

It’s a long long long story and has been a long twisty turning road these past many weeks with lots of ups and downs and all-arounds, and we do not know where the road leads. Our human brains get pretty attached to trying to be in charge of it all. The truth is WE NEVER KNOW the future. We just think we do.

In meditation group this past Monday evening, I got the visual of putting all my thoughts and worries and expectations onto a conveyor belt. Instead of them all bouncing around in my mind, affecting my body and my mood, I dump them all on this conveyor belt and watch them float down the line to be embraced by God/Source/Universe/Whatever-label-you-use.

God can handle it all. It is not my job. Anything that is mine to tend to will be given to me. The angels merrily sift and sort through all the piles of mind gunk on that conveyor belt and any little detail that is for Kelly to do is given to her, and always with the guidance and assistance of the divine team.

That reminder has been really helpful for me.

A few other reminders for my fellow humans on this earth journey: You are loved. You are not alone. You do not have to do it all.

Much love,

Kelly
