Spring joys

Spring Fever! Let's enjoy the blooms and birds and BUNNIES! and all the things.....

A couple newsletters ago I wrote about squirrels and trust muscle (read here). A lovely gal, Kathy, wrote me that her late husband Gregg Bassett started the Squirrel Lovers Club in the 1990s and it's still going and is international! The simple joys of life are even sweeter when shared.

That's what I do with these missives -- share things that bring me joy. Like HARP HEALING. We have 3 spots left for this Sunday. Tranquility. Angelic. Glorious. Sign up here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1309250516539

Exploring Other Realms also brings me joy but an unexpected out of town trip to tend to family stuff means I won't be home so we will not gather this week Thursday to chat and share. I have tried to notify all our regulars. If someone shows up at the Joy House, sit a spell on the porch and breathe in the quiet.

We have hit 9 months at our home now and the serenity is divine. When I was younger I loved busy and hubbub and activity and go-go-go. Now? I love quiet. If that makes me old, so be it.

Seeing EIGHT bluebirds on the birdbath at one time? JOY! Twelve deer strolling through the yard? JOY! Twenty turkeys? JOY! (Not sure why I count every time, but I do.)

May your spring bring you joy.

Much love,

Kelly

"Finish each day and be done with it.

Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.

Tomorrow is a new day: Begin it well and serenely

and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."

~Ralph Waldo Emerson
