I LOVE FALL!

Hello love bugs!

I LOVE FALL! Let me count the ways! September is our birthday month (both Jim and me) - Woohoo! Weather is no longer hot and humid (I wilt like the delicate flower that I am)! I can wear a soft fuzzy cuddly sweatshirt at night while sitting outside enjoying the stillness and twilight sky! Apple donuts! Cider slushies! (Curran’s are yummm.) Less bugs. More color. Well, we have not started with the foliage color change yet, but suffice to say, I LOVE FALL!

Another reason to love fall is to get back in the swing of hosting more gatherings here at the Joy House. Monday Meditation stayed a weekly thing all summer and continues to roll. Join us every week at 6:30 pm. The rest of the September schedule “should” have been set, but we were away longer than planned and when we returned, we discover a sopping wet basement.

Water heater fritzed out while we were gone. The WHOLE basement, finished side and unfinished side, seeped up water and spread like a lake. Slosh, slosh, slosh.

One of many blessings = all our sound healing instruments were with us on our road trip so everything we cherish is totally fine. The pillows we have for our sound baths here were sacrificed to the water gods, but in the big picture, all is well.

All the carpet and pad is ripped out and hauler-away-guy comes later today. While we await the drying out and getting new flooring, I will look at the calendar and get some dates for upcoming events. Thanks for your patience!

We have LOTS of things shaking in our orbit, and it is all JOY. More on all that later. Just wanted to pop in to say hello and wish you a glorious kickoff to fall. ENJOY the sensory experience. And if you have extra donuts, I’ll put a basket on my porch for drop-offs. ;-D
