Happy days of December!
My experiment in doing holiday cards was a great success, a joyous task for me. I had bought some high-quality cards with a retro vibe and then I hit the jackpot at a church basement sale and scooped up a whole bunch of true vintage cards. They were a bit flimsy but the assortment was pure delight to me. I wanted to keep them all and wallpaper my bathroom with cards that remind me of those that hung on the back of Grandma O’s front door when I was a kid.
We have a bit of snow on the ground now. It’s gorgeous. A couple inches more is expected tonight. The white-covered trees, the icy lake, I love the winter scene. It doesn’t matter to me if we have a white Christmas or not, I like the pretty.
As the year draws to a close, we will continue to have Meditation Mondays on both Dec 23 and Dec 30. (With snacks!) Dec 30 evening will be a special time for blessings and release. If you are local, please join us.
I imagine I will send out a short note again before end of year. If not, or you don’t check your inbox (yay!), happy merry everything. May you wrap up this year with gratitude and may you enter 2025 with deeper sense of trust and groundedness.
