How many lifetimes can you live in one earthly life? MANY!
How much can evolve in fifteen years of marriage? A LOT!
May 1, 2011 Jim and I married.
May 1, 2026 Happy Anniversary to us!
Gratitude overflows. This journey of love and life and the continual evolution of our spiritual growth, individually and together, is a beautiful gift.
I could write pages and pages (and I have over the years) about relationship and about the man with many names. ZenMan. Papa. Dad. For me, he is my HoneyMan, Everything Man, Poet of my Heart, AngelBoy, Prince Charming, Sweetheart, Joyful HandyMan, Jimmy. In the beginning of dating him, I told someone he was so wise, like a JesusJohnLennonBuddha. That got such a reaction, they wanted to make t-shirts. We never did.
By any name, I am blessed.
Today in this moment, I offer simple gratitude over grandiose platitudes.
Always there to hug me, hold me, listen to me, is my dear sweet husband.
Ever since I started Joy Beyond Your Dreams, Inc. to BIRTH THAT BOOK to Access SOUL, the pillar behind the scenes, the SteadyEddie to my SwirlyGirly, the man with smart brains and cornball humor, is the guy who showed up at my first joy luncheon in December 2009. And he is still here. Kind, patient and thoughtful, and loves me as I am.
I wish that for everyone. To feel safe to be their wild wonderful weird self. And he continues to teach me that I have to do that for myself. No matter if we have a someone or not, we gotta be kind, patient and thoughtful to ourselves. We have to love and adore ourselves.
Thanks, Husband. I love you.
My joys this week are many, and not all have to do with wedding anniversary, but I will simply share some pics from May 1, 2011, cuz that for sure was a true joy day.
~~~If you need to find some affection for yourself, hit me up. We have ways to help you on your journey of life and love with all its twists and turns. Sound therapy, a 1:1 energy healing or soul coach hour, or a session in the vibroacoustic sound lounge. Clearing out the gunk is the first step to better relationships, and the most important one is the one you have with you.
Much love,
In joy,
Kelly
We married in the center of the labyrinth at Womanspace in Rockford. Our kids, parents, and sibs. That's my mom in the pink on the left doing a reading and my dad taking photos. (Seated next to my sons are our musicians, songstress/guitarist Patricia Caldwell, and Native American flute Bill Buchholtz from Chicago, who has played for Jane Goodall, Desmond Tutu -- and us!)
Walking through the small patch of woods to the labyrinth; dance party reception; our boys getting the party started (my two on the right, Tyler, Andrew, their pals, Jim's oldest, Josh, on the left (his youngest, Caleb, sat this one out); end of dance party we wore our shirts that lit up to the music; honeymoon in Italy starting off in Stresa on Lago Maggiore across from Isola Bella
