Valentine's weekend, and always, we love you

Hey Howdy Hello!

Valentine's weekend can be triggering for some. We live in a society that sends endless messages, usually not powerful uplifting messages, and our brains over time have co-opted those messages to be truth.

The external messages of social media, media media, advertising, endless scrolling, etc. are NOT the truth.

YOU are whole and sovereign and a delightfully perfectly imperfect human whether you have a partner or not, whether you have a sweetie this weekend or not.

One of the many things I loved about living in France all those years ago was that the culture was NOT couple-centric. You did not need a "plus one" to feel at ease attending events. Each person was seen as a person and not someone else's "better half."

There was no awkwardness hanging as a solo with a group of couples. There was no such thing as feeling like a "third wheel." Simply wasn't a concept. People are people and single, pairs, trios, whatever does not matter. Each person is a separate entity. (Duh.)

How refreshing. How glorious to not feel pressure to "be in a relationship." The real truth is that you are always in relationship - with you.

We are so grateful for you.

We are three months in now to hosting things at AccessSOUL on Main St. It is evolving so beautifully. Help us keep spreading the word. We are here to be that lighthouse, helping you find your way back home to your heart.
